Why Fogging: 

Fogging is a technique that uses a special machine to generate a cloud of extremely small droplets of disinfectant which eliminate pathogens on the surface and in the air.  The purpose of this application is to disperse the disinfectant to reduce the number of airborne micro-organisms and to apply disinfectant to surfaces that may be hard to reach.

The Disinfectant:

We use hard-surface botanical disinfectants which meet health Canada's requirements for emerging viral pathogens.  These authorized disinfectants may be used against SARS-CoV-2, the coronavirus that causes COVID-19.

Coronaviruses are enveloped viruses.  This means they are one of the easiest viruses to kill with the appropriate disinfectant when used according to the label directions. These biodegradable chemicals are deemed to be food safe by the CFIA.
